Attached is the 5th period roster, as you can see we have a ton of kids interested in Beach Volleyball.  This year for 2nd Semester, this class will only be for kids participating on the indoor volleyball team.  

If you are on this roster and are not interested please let me know asap as there were quite a few kids that really wanted to participate.  Please get everything done asap as beach season is starting next week.  Get on the TeamApp, I will be sending updates through the app, practice schedules, other info, etc..

2025-26 RUHS BOYS BEACH VOLLEYBALL INFORMATION

Boys Beach Volleyball is a club but it is run as a sport like many others at RUHS.  There will be tryouts, and we will not just take anyone interested.  You will be expected to commit to practice and compete in tournaments.  Also, being in the 5th period Volleyball is a privilege and to be enrolled, you need to abide by the rules.  See Below  

A Days (Mon) we meet at school usually on the athletic field to take role then either play some volleyball, use the weight room or do some studying/homework.

C Days (Wed/Fri) we train at the beach during the 5th Period class time.

Students are responsible for getting to the beach on their own. Once a player is fully cleared they will receive an off grounds pass for 5th period that allows them to leave campus after lunch to go to the beach.  Many students ride bikes or arrange carpools with other parents to get their kids down to the beach.  We normally train at either 14th or 16th Street in Hermosa Beach.

Being a part of RUHS Boys Beach Volleyball, we ask that you make a $350 donation to the Boys Beach Volleyball ASB account to help fund the program.  This is a Club so we do not get the same support sports do at RUHS.  These donations go towards the following things:  tournament registrations, uniforms, equipment, coaching, etc…

You can do this online or at the ASB Office with Kanani Bradley.
